Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a mattress collection service with Wicklow Mattress Recycling (“we”, “our”, “us”). By requesting a collection through our website, phone, or email, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Us

Wicklow Mattress Recycling provides collection and recycling services for domestic and commercial mattresses. We collect mattresses from customer locations and transport them to authorised waste facilities for recycling in compliance with the National Waste Collection Permit Office (NWCPO).

2. Service Description

  • We offer collection of mattresses from homes, businesses, and organisations within our designated service areas.

  • Collected mattresses are brought to licensed and authorised recycling facilities for responsible processing and disposal.

  • Collections must be pre-booked and confirmed by us via email, SMS, or phone.

3. Customer Responsibilities

By booking a collection, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate details of the number, size, and condition of mattresses to be collected.

  • Ensure mattresses are ready for collection at the agreed date and time, and that access is safe and unobstructed.

  • Place mattresses outside or at ground level where agreed unless indoor collection has been pre-arranged.

  • Ensure that mattresses are free from infestation, contamination, or hazardous materials.

We reserve the right to refuse collection if:

  • Access is unsafe or restricted,

  • The items differ substantially from the booking details, or

  • The items pose a health or safety risk to our staff.

In such cases, a call-out charge may still apply.

4. Collection Fees & Payment

  • All prices are displayed on our website or provided in writing before booking.

  • Payment is required in advance or upon collection, depending on the booking method.

  • We accept cash or online transfer.

  • Fees are non-refundable once a collection has been completed.

If a customer cancels a collection:

  • More than 24 hours before the scheduled time: no charge.

  • Less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or if access is unavailable at collection time: a call-out fee may apply.

All mattresses collected are transported to authorised waste facilities licensed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or local authorities.
We comply fully with Irish waste management regulations and provide transparent recycling practices.

  • We will take reasonable care when handling items and accessing your property.

  • However, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from delay, non-collection, or damage, except where caused by our proven negligence.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring access routes are clear and safe.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

To cancel or reschedule a collection, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5–10 business days.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your details will only be used for scheduling collections, issuing invoices, and communicating about our services.

11. Governing Law
